Liz Jorgensen
I meet with individuals, families, and couples to work through challenges, both past and present, and to equip you with the tools you need to find happiness and your own version of success. I am passionate about working with youth and young adults– meeting them where they are at and building on their own natural strengths and supports to create lasting change. I have a collaborative therapeutic style that invites family and loved ones to participate in the growth process in a meaningful way. I have an eclectic style, pulling from different modalities to find the right approach for each client.
I’m interested in neurodivergence, parenting issues, relationship issues, trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, lbgtq+ issues including identity development and exploration, and am familiar with issues related to all members of the adoption constellation. I have spent over a decade working with youth and families in different capacities including social-emotional skills development, educational settings, residential treatment and outpatient programs, and case management with refugee foster youth. I love to get creative by including art and play-based activities!
