Counseling and Therapy in Oakland
Finding the right therapist is personal. Finding one close to home makes it a little easier to actually go.
Our Oakland therapy office is located downtown at 10th and Jackson, close to Lake Merritt, Old Oakland, and the Chinatown neighborhoods. We’re easy to reach for clients coming from across the East Bay, including Alameda, Berkeley, and Emeryville. Whether you’re navigating a difficult season of life, working on your relationship, or supporting a child or teen who’s struggling, our team is here to help.
We offer in-person sessions at this location, with telehealth available across California when life makes coming in person harder.

What to expect when you arrive
Parking & access
You can park in the building’s parking lot on Jackson or on the street. The entrance is under the awning that says “211.” The door stays locked, so text your therapist when you arrive and they will come down to open it. The security gate makes the front door a tight fit, so let your therapist know if you’d like the gate opened for more room.
Accessibility
We’re on the second floor with both an elevator and stairs. There are two single stall bathrooms in the hall, both binary gendered, with a key kept near the office door. If you have any access needs or questions, please let us know ahead of time so we can make arriving as smooth as possible.
For your health and ours
If you’re feeling sick on the day of your appointment, please reach out and we’ll switch to telehealth rather than cancel. We don’t currently have masking or vaccine requirements, so please talk to your clinician about any needs or requests. We have hand sanitizer available.
